The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to their postgraduate management programs. CAT 2009 was the 16th edition of the exam and was held on November 22, 2009.
The CAT exam is divided into three sections: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. Each section has 30 questions and the total time duration of the exam is 180 minutes.
